Sponsorship Information
Full sponsorship of a sanctuary animal has many benefits, both to the animals and to the people who are sponsoring. Sponsoring a sanctuary animal means you are paying $250 per month to provide support for an animal who will spend the rest of its life with Dreamchaser. These animals will never be adopted out, either because of health issues, special physical needs, or emotional issues. Some of the Premarin mares remain here to assure that they are never bred again. These mares, used in the drug industry, have had foals every year since they were two or three years old, and their bodies get ravaged by that constant condition. They came to us wild and have been not only gentled, but many are now riding horses.
When you take on the commitment of sponsoring a horse, it is similar to leasing a horse. You can come to the ranch as often as you like to bond with that horse, spend time with him/her, grooming, walking, perhaps even riding if the horse is trained. This adds a wonderful dimension to your life as well as to the horses’ life.
We are thrilled because that particular horse is getting special attention on a one on one basis, which we can’t always provide.
